I have to say, I was expecting Napolitano to beat Slabba yesterday given Slabba's lack of match practice, but for him to beat Bloomers 2 & 0 has come as a real shock.

I don't think it is much of a shock. Bloomers is still a good player on his day, at least on the right court, but his good days are far less frequent than they used to be and when he is bad he tends to be very bad. If his serve doesn't fire he is in big trouble against most opponents.

But three Brits in the semis is still good.
Napolitano was a top 10 junior at the start of last year and is still only 18 so is probably under-ranked. Still a bit of a shock though, especially the scoreline.

I suspect you will see a Willis v Napolitano final, but both Willis and Pauffley are very unpredictable and Broady seems to have a new found confidence.
Could really do with someone getting rid of Napolitano. The word in Spanish is used for a "Chocolate Croissant" and for someone who is trying to shed a few (hundred) pounds, I am fed up with the constant reminders of tempting food.
