hey,i've just started a tennis blog as i always been a big fan of tennis and i tought i try blogging to see how well/bad it goes. can i post my website in this thread and ask for feedback or is this against forum rules?
Thanks for the replies. Here's my blog http://tennisbanter.blogspot.co.uk/ please don't be too critical as I'm new to blogging (haha) but I could really benefit from feedback from people who my blog targets :) :)
Feedback (from a non-blog reader)................okay theres a few typos and layout issues, and Nadal lost in the 1st round not the 2nd.
That aside its a pretty good read but, as a blog, I'd rather have more of "you" in there otherwise it could be a magazine article. To be honest though, I am, not sure I would bookmark a blog as a message board such as this covers lots of opinions mixed with facts. To get this "target audience" clicking on regulary I guess you'd need an "in" or a twist that made it stand out.................satire, humour or controversay? I can see its a lot of work though and it is pretty good, I would just need a good reason to start following what it is you want to write.
As a not very knowledgable fan, that's interesting. however if you're claiming to be a tennis expert, please get player names (federer, lisicki, sloane, ferrer, to name some of them) spelt correctly, and get a friend to do a spell check/grammar audit for you.
Thank you very much for your replies I really really appreciate it. I'm typing it via my ipad so the stupid autocorrect keeps changing some of the words I type. I know I need to prove read my posts in more detail and I will do. I'm trying to arrange a interview with somebody from the LTA but at the moment it's more of a hope than a reality, lol. I'm currently not telling any of my mates at the mo until my blog hopefully works out which I hope it does. Keep on reading! :)
