And it's true that Laurent has had some good domestic results and plays pretty well (although he IS only 1288 in the world and there's no getting round that so let's not get carried away).

Twelve double-faults, when you've only served 8 times, is dreadful. No wonder he got broken 6 times.
(just noticed that the stats I'm looking at aren't quite the same as Steven's - in fact, ITF live scoring has had different match stats from Bet365 all week - don;t know if it's that)
However, it all comes down to the same thing !
Great choice of tournament. Good draw. No unholy mess up in the first rounds. But the first time against a decently ranked player (the other two were UNR and 1200+) it's a non-match. Disappointing. Await to see tweet . . .
