Week 27 - Challenger ($50,000) - Winnetka IL, USA (Hard)

L32: Alex Bogdanovic WR 275 v Austin Krajicek (USA) WR 290

Krajicek has reached lots of Futures finals this year but Alex beat him 5 & 1 in Tallahassee in April. Winner plays (3/WC) Sock or Wolmarans.

Tallahassee was played on clay, a surface on which Krajicek has a distinctly unimpressive record. This match will probably be much tougher for Boggo than that was.

Krajicek hits back, taking the second set by 6-3 to level the match! hmm

3rd set went with serve, Krajicek saved 3 break points at 3-3, then of course broke Boggo.

Boggo saved 2 match points with Krajicek serving at 5-3, had a break back point, Krajicek took it on his 3rd match point 6-3

L32:  Austin Krajicek (USA) WR 290 defeated Alex Bogdanovic WR 275 by 0-6 6-3 6-3  disbelief

Will Boggo's be the next name to warrant to a "retirement" thread at some point in the not-too-distant future in this forum? hmm  Perhaps the Count can shed some light on that...

The Count will obviously have a better insight than me but I don't think that a Boggo retirement is immanent .
