Great win for Tom - he reaches his first Futures singles Final, breaking a run of 5 losing semis!

Indeed, both from a pro-Farquharson and an anti-Klein perspective.

Mainly from a pro-Tom perspective for me, but yes, I was really hoping he'd win

Well done, Tom !

As Tennisnow says, Tom is one of several GB players who has absolutely no points to defend in the coming months (and has five 0 point tournaments on his current breakdown). So could really clock up some significant points and make a huge leap (without fundamentally actually playing any better).

Good luck to both in the final.

Up 622 places already in the year and going strong. Not bad.

Neal (& Albano) s!  More precious ranking points in the bag:

Final:  (1) Albano Olivetti (FRA) & Neal Skupski WR 768 defeated (2) Zach Itzstein (AUS) & Brydan Klein WR 808 by 7-6(4) 6-3 smile

That's Neal 5th title of the year ... and (less good!) Olivetti has broken the home monopoly on Futures doubles titles this year - GB F1-F11 were all won by all-GB pairs.

Dan beat Tom 6-3, 6-2 to take the title. Pleased for both. Tom as he continues to do well, Dan as a reward for the hard work he puts in.
