Yes I know she's playing an unranked German

Yes I know her opponent has served 14 DFs in 9 service games.

Yes I know she lost the first set

But, whisper it quietly, Sabrina is 5-5 in the second set of her L32 match. Could she win a set? Could she even win?

No. 3-6 5-7.

Her 11th straight sets defeat in a row, and her 18th in 19 matches this year including all her ITF MD matches.

I guess the question at this point is to ask whether this season is the aberration, or whether in fact last season when she picked up a few encouraging ITF wins was the aberration?

There are worse places to be than Sharm, but it can't be cheap to be out there for 3 weeks.

In answer to your question, Briteny, the FCO is advising against all travel to the portions of Egypt bordering Israel/Gaza and all but essential travel to most of the rest of the country, but they've exempted the area around St Catherine's Monastery, Sharm el Sheikh and the Red Sea resorts.
