As I write, it's currently 42 degrees in Sharm, midday, and Laura is playing a Greek girl (who might be a little better when its hot, although who would be stupid enough to play at noon in Egypt in late June).

I ask is this a tennis match or an endurance test?

Why are these girls wasting so much money on a 2-3 week trip to Egypt in late June, unless it's basically a holiday combined with some tennis? I'm only half joking.

In the doubles, Sabrina has made the SF (at least that'll buy her a cup of coffee or two):

QF: Sabrina BAMBURAC (GBR) / Anna MORGINA (RUS) [2] win 7-6(4) 6-1 against Susanne CELIK (SWE) / Brenda NJUKI (SWE)

SF: Sabrina BAMBURAC (GBR) / Anna MORGINA (RUS) [2] v Mai EL KAMASH (EGY) / Madrie LE ROUX (RSA)
