Im guessing maybe if the two matches on centre are completed rather quickly... I imagine Laura may well be switched to Centre!

Switched to Centre (unlikely but possible I suppose) and rained off til tomorrow probably the best options now. Wouldn't be great for Laura to have to start at 7:30 in front of a tiny crowd

With Djokovic v Reynolds likely to go on at least another hour I seriously doubt they will schedule another match for centre court.

Possibly Dimitrovs match to try and get that finished but yeah unlikely now put a full match on!

Surely they would rather play tonight then have to play 2 days running. 8 o clock start would not be a problem, they are used to much later starts than that.

Exactly look at the Aussie open and US open with their night matches... Also Laura has doubles and mixed doubles so im pretty sure if she can play tonight she will take it!

What with the carnage yesterday I expect the organisers are glad to add Laura's match to tomorrow's schedule. By being held over by a day suddenly Laura is 'upgraded' from Court 2 to Centre. With the forecast looking poor she also has the advantage of no more hanging around.

Early days.

A really nervy start. I'm sure (hope?) she'll get settled and start to play better.

Looking a bit more settled . . . got the break back . . .

Looking better - I'm not sure she looks like a Number One seed which is what the official Wimbledon scores site shows though!

Pretty horrid set of tennis so far. Laura looks nervous as hell.

Thankfully so does the other girl.

Thoroughly well deserved.

I doubt she'll be happy with all of it (Brad Gilbert's book 'Winning Ugly' comes to mind) but she was clearly the better player and under a fair bit of pressure to win.

And she did!
