Just out of interest, anyone know what's happening with the Pavlyuchenkova/Pironkova match? Pironkova was being tipped for good things, but Ms Pavlyuchenkova has yet to get a game on the board.

Darn, thought she had broken. Looked a correct overrule, just pity he hadn't overruled that earlier awful call on BP at start of the set.

Really impressive display from Tara. Amazed she could keep that level up for so long.

Bah, magnificent effort by Tara, feel really sorry for her.

Great attitude, match play ability putting disappintments behind her. Also really good movement, clearly really worked on her fitness and impressed with how she put away half court balls whenever she had the chance, often waiting for Kanepi to move.

A few double faults yes, but I thought generally held herself together well. And Kanepi was very loose at random times, usefully sometimes on BPs.

Overall though, so encouraging. Move forward from this, Tara, and move up the rankings !
