Winner of Andy's and James's matches play each other in round 2. Despite Nadal being 5th seed Andy still has the prospect of only facing 2 of the 'top 4' to win the title.

Novak Djokovic is a very lucky man. I guess he sort of deserved it after Roland Garros. But he is very lucky. As for Mr Murray: well, if he gets to the QFs, Tsonga/Cilic isn't great, but could be worse, and if he gets to the SFs, I guess he'll have to hope that Federer and Nadal wear each other out ...

Aye Jerzy came through qualis last year and went on to beat fellow qualifier Bolelli in round 1 before beating Gulbis in round2. However he did go out in Round 1 of Halle last week to WR240 Basic.
I could be wrong on this. If so someone correct me, but i don't think Andy would have been ranked high enough to even get into qualifying, So he would have needed a wild card for that too.
On another point is the least men we ever had in the main draw. or the least wild cards handed out to British men

I may be wrong but Murray's biggest threat will be Djokovic. Should he play Federer, I fancy him to win in 3 or 4 sets. Rafa will be trickier but I think he will beat him. It will be tough to win against Djokovic when he has had a fairly straight forward path to the final.
Never underestimate Federer at Wimbledon, he looked very impressive in Halle last week. In my opinion, the best in the top 4 at mixing up the play which makes him very suited to grass.
Denver, I'm getting the impression that you're not keen on wildcards. Now sure why I get this feeling, it's just a hunch.
HA HA HA - like that SMC - GETTING THINGS OFF MY CHEST - WILDCARDS INTO ROOM 101!!! ONLY GS EVENTS THOUGH - NOT OPPOSED TO NORMAL TOUR EVENTS.
Well you have just destroyed your own position far better than anyone else ever could. If it so unfair that Kyle gets a Wimbledon wild card why is it okay for a couple of Canadians to get a wild card for the Rogers Cup or for a couple of Americans in Cincinnati?

Yes, doesn't Federer look unbeatable on grass - when he's not playing Djokovic, Murray or Nadal.
I give him a 10% chance of winning Wimbledon, Nadal 15%, Murray 30%, Djokovic 40%, AN Other 5%. I'd guess we all agree on these odds, with a variance of up to 10% here and there. This does of course mean that Andy is over twice as likely NOT to win as he is to win. Sorry ...

I agree that it is a very tough draw for Kyle. If he is going to win this thing, his likely route will be
R1 : Janowicz R2 : Stepanek R3 : Almagro L16 : Federer QF : Nadal SF : Murray F : Djokovic
He is going to have to put ALL the "big boys" in their place
I think he's fine until the QF, but I fancy Nadal to take him out in 4
Even more intriguing is the potential R2 match-up - 8 years ago, an 18-year-old Brit ranked in the 300s (as Kyle will be on Monday) and playing in his first Wimbledon played (and beat) Radek in R2.

For some reason Janowicz doesn't like playing on grass, even though his game should be well suited to it. Still a very tough draw for Kyle.
Pretty good draw for James though and a chance to defend his R2 points.
Its probably because he had just not played very much on the surface before. Plenty of players have struggled to adapt to grass at first and then gone on to be very good players on it.
