Katie is out of hospital now and her mum has flown there to be with her she hopes to be well enough to fly home ( USA ) on tues

Very best wishes, and relieving to hear of some immediate improvement.

The story of British rower Alex Partridge shows that suffering a collapsed lung is not necessarily detrimental to a world class sporting career - though he was much older when he suffered his, prior to the Beijing Olympics. May Katie similarly soon return to full health and even more successes.
