Tough luck for Sean but in all honesty the level of interest I have in Kyle playing doubles is somewhat limited. I think it is safe to say that his priorities lie elsewhere.
Honesty compels me to say that I'm more impressed by that than by the victory yesterday. Or perhaps impressed by the two of the results taken together. Very, very good.
Brit doubles interests for tomorrow: Jamie D/James OR Colin/Jonny 5th after 11:00 (and not before 16:00) on Centre Court - following Kyle Jamie M/John 5th after 11:00 on Court 1 - following Heather Ken/Paul 3rd after 11:00, on Court 4.

Thanks for the report, Seagull. (Appropriate tournament for a seagull to attend .... ) Would love to see Thornley/Rice get a good draw at Wimbledon and do really well. Or just do really well!

Watched most of the Edmund/Thornley match (standing next to Leon Smith and Jamie Murray!!). Have to say the best player on court was Sean Thornley who played great doubles tennis. Edmund more than held his own, but Ram carried their opponents through in the MTB...was not impressed with Booty at all.
Peers was talking to his coach afterwards who remarked that Jamie seemed to have got his mojo back!

You beat me too it. I was there too and had planned to post exactly the same about Sean Thornley. I can't understand why his doubles ranking is not higher. I hope it will be soon.
