(It's rather noble that you both seem to assume that the "unimportant" cash will be, er, "reinvested". I somehow doubt it - a nice set of wheels would be my guess. Or maybe I'm just appallingly cynical, perhaps it will be repaid to the LTA ...)

Kyle already bought himself a new car earlier this year (VW Golf - latest model) , and given how proud he was of it when I spoke to him, I doubt he'll be after another one just yet wink

I don't think that I suggested that the cash would be "re-invested" and frankly I don't see any reason why it should be repaid to the LTA. I am sure that he can find something to spend it on, as I said it will be a nice little earner for him, I just don't see it as being important to his career.

A few comments about Simon not playing well, hence Kyle getting close. But he is playing the same standard and just won the first set against Tomic 7-6
Makes Kyle look pretty good (at least on grass)

Well yes but Tomic's form at the moment is equally poor.

That's not saying much for Tomic's earlier opponents, Julien Benneteau and James Ward, then. Granted Tomic is not at his best, but "poor" play doesn't often win two matches.
