Seems as though Gilles Simon will be OK to play ...

After limping off practice court yesterday, Gilles Simon hitting with Philipp Kohlschreiber just now. He'll be fine for Kyle Edmund 2R match

Ward lost the first set 6-3. Had a chance to break back in the last game of the set but didn't press his advantage when clearly on top in the point. Overall too many unforced errors.

Had not expected him to be this good yet. Three mature ATP-level performances in three days. Can't think of any GB youngster since Mr Murray who's done that. Good stuff.
