Didn't quite seem to believe despite getting in to good positions against heavy favourites.
Given a reasonable draw at SW19 though, Sam & Jade could win a round. I think, well, um, doubles is not Johanna's strongest point, so Anne may struggle to carry her.

Laura should not be focusing on "running when she has problems walking". She should focus on getting her game to the level of consistency to be able to beat players she is suppose to beat on a regular basis in the first place. Beating "higher ranked" players whilst a confidence booster is not where a solid foundation is established at her stage of "development".
Of all the Brits, she is the one (with the game) with the most potential to go very far but she should learn to "walk first". No shortcuts.

If you saw the doubles match at Nottingham the other week, then Anne and Jo were equally as bad and I have never rated Anne as doubles player, her volleying is dire to say the least!!

Yep, watched the whole of it. Not Anne's best doubles day. She did make a WTA final earlier in the year though - watched that one too. She can play. Shaw nuff. (Sorry, Dizzy Gillespie on the radio.)
Conversely, I can't say I remember JoKo playing well in any doubles I've ever seen, she looks very unnatural in the format.
