Good tie break. So now it's just a rested Bhupathi/Bopanna in the QFs and potentially the Bryans (although GB watchers will hope not) in the SFs. Not the easiest of draws.

Shouldn't the Byrans be WR 2 combined?

Good win for Colin and Jonny. That have sat around all week waiting for a match while their opponents have played singles matches and a doubles match just before they went on court for this match. In the circumstances it is a really good win.

Yes, it's one time when it seems better simply to use the "1," rather than go for the combination, isn't it.

Knew I should have put a bet on when it was 50 - 1 !!!! (I didn't, of course) Actually I think it was 150 /1

Well, it was good (& exciting!) while it lasted:

QF:   (1) Bob Bryan & Mike Bryan WR 1 defeated (WC) Jamie Murray & John Peers (AUS) WR 128 by 7-6(5) 6-7(9) [11-9] cry

The boys go up an early break in the first set:  3-1*.

Only to fail to capitalise on four breaks points in the fifth game & be pegged back in the sixth:  3-3*. hmm

Well, on the Aegon Classic official website, they've no idea about the difference either, claiming that :

"Hantuchova, who received treatment during the match for a leg strain, was trailing 3-0 in the final match tie-break before winning seven consecutive points to edge the win".

NB the match was supposedly absolutely superb, very close, very long, but on the highlights clip they spend half the time showing three dodgy line calls - ridiculous.

Bops' & Bhupathi's turn to get the early break in the second set:  1-2*.  I don't like the look of this one little bit. no
