Unusual situation - Jathan was 1st Alt here but not only did he not end up in the main draw, he didn't even end up as the top seed in qualifying.

FQR: (q3) Jathan Malik WR 1567 v Ferdun Shevkedov (BUL) UNR or (wc) Mete Buyuksahin (TUR) UNR

Simon Ede will be in the main draw here - he still shows as GBR in the ATP rankings but AUS on ITF and on drawsheets, so I'm not convinced he has really switched.
