Disagree I'm afraid no evidence of being able to compete at this level results wise likewise with Milton.
We have very few players who you could see competing (i.e. regularly winning more than their fair share of matches) at Challenger level.
James Ward certainly. And especially if he finds a hypnotist who can sort out his demons when the winning line approaches against "bigger" players, serving out at the end of sets, matches or in tiebreaks.
Dan Evans without a shadow of a doubt. Not only can he win, but he has the talent to make decent opponents look silly on his day. And I think he could go straight through Challenger level to ATP if he wanted it enough and did everything required. But will he?
Alex B on his day, but there are less and less on those now. Jamie B in the past, and maybe in the future, but not at the moment. Kyle Edmund for certain, but perhaps not for a year or so (although he may surprise us yet). Ed Corrie we don't know, but I'd actually be surprised if he didn't step up a level to Challenger successfully, given his work ethic.
Alex Ward, Oli Golding, Ashley Hewitt perhaps one day. Too hard to be certain. But it is nice to see Alex trying for a few weeks and not looking too out of place. Anyone else? Who knows? There's no crystal clear candidates....lots of ifs and buts.
