This thread is as good a place as any to note the continued progress of one Oli's peers.
On Monday morning Jiri Vesely, still only aged 19, will be ranked 105 in the world. This week he made the final of the Prostejov challenger, losing to Stepanek in the final. The field for this event was almost like an ATP 250 event. It had 4 top 50 players and at least 8 top 100 players (8th seed was ranked 87).
- 2nd seed Alejandro González (COL) WR 147 (who won the Salinas Challenger and was runner-up in Panama City this year) - Jonathan Eysseric (FRA) WR 236 - (WC) Mathieu Rodrigues (FRA) WR 445 (CH 211 in 2012) - (WC) Maxime Hamou (FRA) WR 1250 / junior no. 8 (Trofeo Bonfiglio semi-finalist & has won 2 G1s on clay in the last couple of months)
