QF: (WC) Ken Skupski & Neal Skupski WR 616 defeated (1) Santiago González & Scott Lipsky (MEX/USA) 6-4 6-2
SF: (WC) Ken Skupski & Neal Skupski WR 616 vs. (4) Sanchai Ratiwatana/Sonchat Ratiwatana (THA/THA)
I never saw that coming! What a super win & great news to get home to! If they can brush aside the top seeds so easily, the "Ratis", as I call them, should be a pushover! 33 guaranteed ranking points in the bag!

Have Ken or Neal explicitly ruled out the idea of a long term partnership with each other? If they are able to compete so well at challenger level it must be a viable option financially - and surely both would be more relaxed room sharing, practising etc. with each other than a partner?

The fact that they have set up a SkupskiBros account on Twitter makes it seem more likely that they have explicity ruled it in! I would guess they are hoping to get WCs throughout the grass court season and to pick up enough points over the next few weeks for them to get into Challengers together direct.

Brilliant - nice to see a stable, all-British partnership get off to a strong start. Thanks for the article wolf - good read! I hadn't considered the logistical issue of the age gap, which seems to be the main reason the partnership is just coming together now.
