Can someone run it past me just why Josh Goodall has a MDWC?
I assume that the thinking is that he is good on grass and if he plays well has the potential to win matches in the main draw. His form however certainly didn't warrant it.

Also to add, James Ward will most likely receive wildcards into Queens (confirmed), Eastbourne and Wimbledon (so 4 on the trot is probably too much) and there are still quite a few Brits abroad playing i.e. Edmund, Golding etc .... I suppose you could have argued the case of David Rice to receive the wildcard but there are not too many other players I suppose!!
Lloyd Glasspool has beat Dan cox 6-4 in the third. Clearly an upset but not a massive surprise. Lloyd has been playing college tennis in America with some success and he has a big game that should be well suited to grass court tennis.

Ah ok, makes a bit more sense I suppose. Still think it's a bit rich that Josh deems Challengers beneath him from January to May when he can make most without qualifying. Then one comes around with a high cut-off point that Josh considers worthy of his time and he snatches a valuable MDWC.
