Now that's what I think we ALL agree is a successful week, and still going. I like the actual wins rather than the nearly wins.

4 wins so far. 9 ranking points so far. A bit of cash. Confidence and kudos. And the opportunity to supersize it to at least 18 points or even more if he's playing really well. Excellent.

I think Alex would have a good chance against either player. I'm not sure Odesnik is that comfortable on clay if he gets through.

Not sure this is right - Odesnik plays almost exclusively on clay (which I grant is unusual for an American) and has some very handy result on the surface. I think it will be a tough one  to win.

Saying that I would be delighted were he to win (which is what I intended, though I can see the ambiguity!) is not the same as saying I think he will. But I would be delighted!

Sorry that was aimed at an earlier comment about Odesnik being uncomfortable on clay, not at you! I would be delighted if he won too but can't see it.
