RE: Week 23 - ITF $75k - Nottingham, UK - Grass

I am sooooo happy for Mel and Emily hopefully this will help them :) im not happy with Lisa and Samantha Murray, i still think Samantha Murray will be given a wc for Wimbledon as she is defo in the top 250, i am now however starting to doubt Lisa Whybourn getting one as she should be winning those matches, i just hope the LTA see Lisa's potential :)

I'm sure more than any other player Emily would have been counting down the days to the grass court season and she has certainly hit the ground running on her favourite surface. Very impressive 2nd round result for her, and sets up an interesting FQR with Mel. Good to be guaranteed at least one qualifier.

Naomi loses. 1-6 4-6

This is Dabrowski's first ever grass tournament in 7 years on tour.

Then she will be pleasantly surprised. As this was a British woman playing a non-Brit, we are, of course, not surprised

Two one-sided sets so far as Emily won 5 games in a row to win the first set and Mel then won the next 5.

Emily-Mel 6-2 1-6
