I think I did the right thing and left after the 1st set of JoKo's match, she never looked back after that :) When Jo's playing well her ball striking is impressive, but a bit like with Laura there are small margins, and it can go awry very quickly. This tournament is wide open, and Jo has shown in the past that she can win 50ks so why not, she really looks pumped on court.
Those 4 points to be broken from 30-0 were horrific.
Riske is a very good grass courter, but Jo has all the tools to match her. Needs to start well in this set and try to recover her level from earlier on.

Slater & Sanchez defeated Murray and Windley. Nicola is really on a nice run of doubles form. After their 50K+H final and now SF here, Sam & Jade aren't doing too badly either. 6-0 6-4

First pressure of any note in the match on the Konta serve leads to a break for Riske. The American has certainly stepped up, but equally, Johanna's radar is going a bit awry in this set so far. 6-2 1-3*
