Boys & Girls: Astrid Bowl Charleroi, Belgium - Grade 1 (Week 22)

Anna Brogan, Gabi Taylor, Joel Cannell, isaac Stoute and Patrick Graham all took part in qualifying, but Anna was the only one to come through and join Evan Hoyt and Samm Butler in the main draw. Anna looks to have a tough draw - if she gets past a qualifier whose record is impressive, she comes up against the top seed Elise Mertens (JWR7).

All three are scheduled to play later this afternoon with point by point updates available by launching the applet at http://www.tennis-ticker.com/cms/iwebs/default.aspx

Boys R1 (L64)

Samm Butler (GBR) v (Q) Leonardo Civita-Telles (BRA)

(Q) Wilder Pimentel (PER) v Evan Hoyt (GBR)

Girls R1 (L64)

(Q) Julia Terziyska (BUL) v (Q) Anna Brogan (GBR)

Samm runs out a comfortable winner to join Evan in round 2. Evan's next opponent may be familiar, having lost to Dave Rice in Greece recently.

Excellent win to bring up only Evan's second G1 quarter-final. The next round is also tough, an Argentinian who was top 20 before concentrating on Futures, and beat Evan twice in straight sets last year

R3

Evan Hoyt (GBR) d. (2/WC) Johan Sebastien Tatlot (FRA) 6-3 6-3
