Lucy gave a good account of herself, but went down in three close, hard fought sets.
6-4 4-6 4-6

 

Lucy later lost in the doubles, too.

In the Wheelchair event QF, Lucy Shuker has just taken the first set off of the Dutch number 1 seed, Aniek Van Koot.
6-4


She also plays doubles SF (which is the first round) later.
We have Gordon Reid playing in the Men's event, and his singles follows Lucy's.
