Well, Messrs Marray and Fleming had nothing to defend at RG, whereas Messrs Huey and Inglot are defending 180 points. So if one of the two had to lose, probably better the ones with least to defend. Did very much want both pairings to win, though! On to the grass season for M and F.
Back to the John Inverdale debate of a day or two ago as apparently the BBC believe that with Jamie Murray's defeat that is it as far as RG goes: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/tennis/22732059. Not sure how Dominic Inglot or our Mixed Doubles pairs will feel about that headline!

That's even worse, because they can't even claim "it's obvious we just meant singles" - probably a knee-jerk reaction to "Murray's out" (since the other Murray is so often the last Brit standing)

Whatever the offending article said, it appears to have been changed. Hope that Messrs Inglot and Huey manage to keep GB into the second week. (As also the mixed doubles pairings)
Perhaps it's because he plays with a non-UK partner, but Mr Inglot seems (despite his cinematic "back-story") to get singularly little notice from the GB press.
