On another note, last weeks champion Nedelko, who waltzed through the tournament for the loss of only 16 games, lost (by retirement, admittedly) in the first round this week.
Not the most demanding of opponents but after what Liam has been through, any win is a good one. Let's hope most importantly that he is now completely injury free and we can see him press on and fulfil the potential that he undoubtedly has.
Good to see Liam back to winning ways after all the wrist and shoulder problems - he should be much higher than the 926 ranking he currently has. Hope he has a good week.
