I think Jack served for the match (I think!) and got broken but as his opponent has served 8 DF and Jack has converted 5 out of 5 BP maybe now's the time . . .
In the absence of stircrazy we have been very sloppy in reporting doubles results this week.
R1: Miles Bugby / Sam Holt UNR beat Jorj Karapetyan / Jean Pascal Vernet (RUS/FRA) UNR : 6-2, 6-7(4) [12-10] R1: James Allemby / Richard Antoine (CAN) UNR lost to George Bastl / Alex Blumenberg (SUI/BRA) UNR : 6-1, 6-1
QF: Miles Bugby / Sam Holt UNR lost to (1) Hugo Nys / Davy Sum (FRA/FRA) WR 1228 : 6-2, 6-1
I've not seen or heard much about Jack. Anyone care to provide a lowdown and abilitywise where you think he is. Up until last week, his results didn't suggest too much hope.

Jack was actually the first player I saw play at futures level. I went to my nearest tournament (Elche) about 3 years ago, not knowing what to expect and Jack just happened to be playing. So I have followed his progress quite closely since then.
He has had some time out for injury, including a 6 month break not so long back, which has slowed his progress, and he also had further problems at the start of this year. I am pleased to see him putting a good run together.
How far can he go ? I wouldn't put him down as a "top prospect" but I think that he could make it into the top 500 and maybe a bit higher if he has really good injury free run. He is a very solid player who makes very few mistakes, but in my humble opinion, he lacks the weapons to trouble the better players. I did discuss him briefly with one of the coaches at the La Manga training camp before Xmas and their opinion seemed to support my own.
