I fear you're right - seems fairly likely that he's been "managing" the injury for most of the time since AO qualifying - since it's been an uncharacteristically lean spell points-wise

others would know better but I would guess most acute wrist injuries take a long time (and he's not had much rest)

David started very slowly (got broken in first game and faced several BP in next service game) but now back on track 3-2
