(at least one) set point for Richard, saved by Dave ... now another ... and that's the end of Dave's 19-set singles winning streak, they're going to 3

Incredibly close throughout, including the tiebreak. 10 wins in a row for Dave, who should return to the top 500 (64 points is enough for WR 493 this week, so not 100% certain but very likely and hopefully he'll have added more points by then anyway) and a bit of a breakthrough week for Richard, who made the Final a heck of a lot closer than most of us probably expected. Richard will rise to a new career high just outside the top 600.

I ended up tweeting quite frequently towards the end because his coach (or rather, someone sitting with him) was following and couldn't get scores elsewhere. ITF livescores won't work on an iPhone, though bet365 (kind of) does.

Best GB result I feel. Ricey a circa 300 player whereas Gabb a 500er. Surely Dave must have a wee chance of some grass court Wild
Cards.

Four weeks on the trot for a male GB singles winner. Well done Mr. Rice. I hope he concentrates more on singles.

Not sure that we will get a fifth on the bounce, but Neil, Oli and Fitzy must be our best hopes.
