Part Brit teams fill the top 3 seeds in doubles. Laura teams up with the young Estonian Anglophile hoping for the same success as Jess Ren had with her. Fran tries to repeat her success of last week with the same partner.

9/12 games in the 1st set were service holds (Lucy went *1-3 down, broke back when Pirazhenka served for the set but then got broken again immediately) then the 2nd set started off with 5 holds followed by 5 breaks!

A marathon final game (no, really, it went on for ages with more deuces than I could count and lasted nearly as long as the rest of the set!) but Laura completed the 2nd set bagel in the end to beat the 14-year-old 7-6(2) 6-0

Lucy upsets Bournemouth runner-up and 7th seed Pirazhenka 5-7 6-4 6-1 & gets a decent 'reward' - a R2 match against unranked Aussie qualifier Leah Daw, who got through against Njiric by retirement.
