RE: Week 20 - Egypt F7 ($10,000) - Sharm el Sheikh (Clay)

Fitzy's has played to his seeding, anything extra this week will be a bonus. I think he is capable of winning this next match as well.

Yes he has Problem is, the jump in points between making QFs and SFs (from 2 to 6) means you can't make much progress at Fitzy's level by consistently getting to QFs, as he himself is well aware. The good thing is, Nedelko's record certainly doesn't make him look unbeatable

little disappointing, i thought the scoreline would be closer. Hopefully next week he can make at least the semi final as he should be ranking much higher for seeding purposes.

Judging from Fitzy's tweet, he sounds more frustrated than anyone.

Frustrating performance 63 62 loss but felt like every game went to deuce and he converted and I didn't. Very very disappointed with that!!

But we all have the occasional bad day at the office.

Fair play - scorelines don't always reflect the game. Good of Fitzy to keep us informed.

Fitzy and AVG are a break down at 5-6* in the first set.

Edit

They recover the break but then go down 7-4 in the tie break.

If it's any consolation to Andrew, his opponent in the QF has just won the tournament - all 5 matches in straight sets, and Fitzy won more games than anyone else managed, even though he got a bit of a spanking.

Need to check if the Russian is entered again in this week's tournament. Hope not

You beat me to it by 2 mins Korriban.  Yes, the Russian only dropped 16 games all week and wasn't taken beyond 6-3 in any set.

Yes.  He is on the entry list for next week.  But Fitzy could be seeded as high as 3 so wouldn't have to meet him until at least the semi.
