Jesus wept. I really am starting to despair of Josh.

He couldn't have hand picked a better draw than this. Even if he goes on to win the match it is pretty worrying that he has made such hard work of it.

Well done to Dave, again showing his singles abilities.

Must be having some thoughts. How much does he allow a decent ( but far from stellar or fast improving ) doubles partnership with Sean compromise his singles ?

A real shocker from Josh in a season of consistently poor results as against what he has previously shown the capability to do and has been seeded to do. Needs to be finding some solutions soon.

great result for David I think he has singles ability I know he has run Evo close a few times.
Sorry for Josh something not working this year. I think he has reached a plateau. Perhaps British Futures King but unable to step up to challengers.
Cannot see much happening for him in grass tournament season

Would be interesting to know what the courts are like here. Dave doing well indicates that they are pretty quick but if that is the case it makes Josh's defeat even worse.
