What a horrible draw for Richard Gabb, everyone else bar Sam should win (Sam must be 50/50). Time for Mr Rice to pick up some singles points, but he has the prospect of the top seed in rnd 2.
Josh Milton has Peliwo in his quarter - which will be tough.

Except for the fact that Peliwo lost in the 1st round today.

I fear that you have been out in the sun too long. Main draw doesn't start till tomorrow.

Peliwo's loss today was in the final of the Week 19 tournament which must have been delayed for some reason.

After further investigation, I would have to agree that I have messed up again disbelief

I was on the ITF live scores site and noticed that Peliwo lost today to Konecney 7-5 in the 3rd set.  Turns out this was the final of last weeks tournament. Must have had weather problems.

I stand corrected.

Looks like the weather turned last week's event turned into a bit of a ... (igmc)

Though having read the first of Bob's two latest tweets, I was thinking it was a bit fishy playing a few R1 matches before they'd even done the draw. wink

Sam Hutt lost the first set 6-1 but things are looking much better in the second where he is now *4-0 up and serving.

(Assuming I have got the score and tournament correct for once)

Yes. Having taken a breadstick in the first, Sam hands out a bagel in the second : 1-6 6-0

Into a decider we go.

As long as they don't mis-spell this weeks Swedish venue in the same way.

Curiously enough, the spelling of the Swedish venue is one of those rare occasions when the ITA not only got it right , but could be @rsed to include the accent, viz. Båstad! wink
