Sibille hasn't done too much beyond that expected at her ranking since her great run at Barnstaple $75K in November, where as a Q she beat Annie K & Birnerova before losing to Annika Beck in the SF.

Excellent win and a big confidence booster. It would be nice if Elena could get a few matches under her belt this week in preperation for Roland Garros.

Hesse was already a set up on Dushevina when the Russian retired. She made a couple of $10K finals in the last 6 months, losing both times, and, as a Q, comfortably beat Mel South in Edgbaston $25K this year, en route to the QF.
