Good performance from Jade to be competitive against someone much higher ranked.

Excellent to see Sam being super competitive against the top seed and has just taken the first set 7-5

The Ukranian isn't top 200 for nothing though, and strikes back hard to take the second set.
Jade gets in the board immediately in the third though.

Hard luck, Jade. Does look as if rather a lot of her opponent's shots were nowhere near the back fence !

In truth I rather think, whatever her supposed liking for 3 sets that I mentioned, as Jaggy indicated it looks just more a case of the markedly higher ranked player showing her superiority in the end.
