Well done James! Got the job done. I'm pleased for him, and hope this is the veritable springboard for better things to come.
But as I watch Ashley Hewitt currently fighting in the Newcastle final against the world #332, having beaten a player ranked even higher previously; as I see Tom F going down manfully in 3 sets against the world #191 in Turkey; and as I look forward to Kyle taking the world #240 on in the USA SF later today, I find it hard to be too congratulatory as James only had to beat the top seeded world #570 today, in a draw which was one of the weakest I've seen in "Europe" (always wonder why Israel was in Eurovision!!).
A great confidence booster, but he needs to push on! next week back in Greece!!!!
