Still sounding a bit under the weather, but nice to hear her especially the bit about deciding to play more relaxed and focus more whereby taking out more of the nerves since Argentina.
They got caught on the hop on the sounds of it - Jonathan Overend candidly admitted on 5Live that they had no expectation that she would win and had expected to just need a few seconds on the show to confirm that she had lost. LOL

1 hour 10 minutes after her win, still the BBC website hasnt picked up on the story. Awful
Lack of patience much? Perhaps it was because their tennis correspondant was arranging to interview her rather than rushing out a piece.
Its our national news service. If they know about something before a full report is ready, they usually just give a headline, a photo and the result, then add "more to follow"
Yes, having previously said I think Laura has been playing too many tournaments, I think that still stands after such a good day, maybe even moreso having clearly found such form.
Strasbourg is the obvious one for her to miss and I think she should take that off, prior to RG and then the grass court sequence.
I had been much more in favour of Laura taking time off from competition to consider and work on her game rather than dropping down to ITF level, which I would think would be very unusual for a top 40 player ( who admittedly hadn't been playing at top 40 level ). Whatever, she has done neither and managed to produce that performance level.
Not the first time anyway that Laura has really produced when least expected, and while I was very confident that things would come right, I still wadn't expecting today.
Fourth fiddle to snooker (World Champs), cycling (Wiggo in Giro d'ltalia; Wiggo vs Froom for Team Sky in this year's Tour de France) & footie (Deckchairs vs Stoke in Prem relegation fight [Deckchairs currently losing ] & League One play-offs) in the latest sports report on the Beeb's News Channel....
Hmm, can't say I am very surprised SC or actually feel that it is necessarily wrong with regards to reflecting the sporting interests and priorities in GB.
Our relative interest in Laura's win today against the world no 4 in a Premier Mandatory is not really reflective of the nation. As long as it was reported, I am personally not at all fussed by that positioning.
Based on Helen Parish's career best wins table that is the best win by a British Woman in 30 years (unless Jo Durie had another win against the WR4 after 1983)
Just checking that now! LOL (got to check Barker & Wade too, just in case)
edit: WTA site is rubbish for checking historical stuff like this, even if you cut the possibilities down in the obvious ways.
After much checking and discussion (the WTA site is a nightmare for checking ranking-related stats from the 1980s!), Helen and I decided it was the first top 4 win for a British woman since 1983. Probably the first since Jo Durie's win against Tracy Austin at 1983 RG, though Pam Shriver may have been top 4 or 5 when she beat her in Brighton later in the year. Jo's biggest win later than 1983 was against Steffi Graf in 1985 but checking the Times archive, which has that story, Steffi was WR 7 at the time, having just reached her first slam semi.
