Maybe look out for when there's a Futures or women's event near you and then go along for men's qualies (they tend to start on the Sunday) or the final stages on the 2nd weekend ... it's virtually all free. Or hope that there is something on near you in the holidays.

Welcome to the board. As Steven has mentioned, there will probably be tournaments near you during the year. For example, they are playing a futures tournament in Newcastle next week with the qualifiers starting this weekend.
Oh my I wasn't expecting this haha XD thanks so much, it means a lot! :) At the moment I haven't really been following men's tennis that much but I guess that can change haha XD
Hope you enjoy some of the Newcastle futures tennis if you get there.
I can understand you having missed the normal extensive advertising ( not ) by the LTA for such events. One wonders how many more might go along if they knew about it.
I'm sure I will enjoy it if I make it! :) I was also thinking of seeing a British tour event but I don't know much about them at all though except a lot of British hopefuls play in them.

If you do make it to the Newcastle Futures, which I am sure will be free and a great experience even if you call in for an hour or so, maybe you could do a mini-report for us on here? Nothing flash, just an update of what you saw.........it'd be much appreciated by all I'm sure!
Oh my I'm not sure I mean...I doubt I will be able to make it as I am celebrating my birthday in the Sunday because I have a ridiculous amount of exams next week XD However I'm pretty sure they hold a lot of $10k events in Sunderland so I might be able to make it to one of them :)
