RE: Week 18 - Great Britain F10 ($10,000) - Edinburgh (Clay)

That's a very good win for Fitzy vs Dan on clay. And another TB win !

Pity for Luke that he couldn't get over the line, but another good week for Ashley.

I see Kubler showing his class, looks like he will take out Coric quite comfortably.

Fitzy will play fifth seed Jason Kubler who thrashed Coric 2 and 1, winning 11 straight games from *0-2

Gabb broke at the start of the second but things quickly went wrong and he lost the set 6-1

It's not that unusual to get all-GB doubles finals in GB Futures, though maybe a bit more unusual to get all-GB SFs. However, it must be very rare to (unless I've missed something) have no non-Brit win a *set* in a Futures doubles event as appears to have happened this week!

9 BPs faced so far, all repelled. 1 BP earned and taken.

Back-to-the-wall performance, so far from Ashley. Must have good resolve under pressure and good concentration too. Hard to keep that up for a whole match, but so far so good.

Update: OK, I'm sorry.....

@fitzmister through to the final in Edinburgh.. His opponent Kubler pulled out before the match... Take it when it comes..

Exactly right. He had some rubbish luck with draws earlier in the year, those 4 'free' points make up for it a bit.
