RE: Week 18 - Great Britain F10 ($10,000) - Edinburgh (Clay)

Ashley Hewitt maintaining his good form from last week and has taken the first set against Jack Carpenter. All the other men's singles are in their early stages yet.

Anyone know if they are still indoors?

I woudn't imagine so on a sparkling sunny day in Edinburgh.

Yesterday's matches were played in doors because the courts were deemed "unplayable" not because it was raining.

James Ireland has come back from a break down to take the first set, Richard Gabb(against the unpredictable Marcus Willis)and Dan Smethurst are also a set up

Ashley Hewitt won 6-3 6-2

Sam Hutt is being obliterated. Lost the first 8 games and only won 10 points.

I'm in Edinburgh ( although can't get along ) I assure you that that is accurate and set fair.

I wasn't aware of the courts being unplayable yesterday, and was away the weekend, but there was certainly rain around yesterday.

He went on to lose the first 10 games ... but the fightback is on LOL - he has just won the last 3 games (with 2 breaks) 0-6 *3-4

Yes, RJA, I wasn't disputing that the courts were unplayable ( and although I hadn't known that before I did read that quote after your initial post ).

Gee whizz, was just trying to pass on some local and I presumed relevant information LOL
