@fitzmister through to the final in Edinburgh.. His opponent Kubler pulled out before the match... Take it when it comes..

So pleased for mr Fitzpatrick.

Have to admit, the 2 occasions I've seen Kubler, he had a face like a smacked bottom, and had a Starred First in being sullen and petulant, so I'm not too upset, although I hope his injury/illness is only minor.

What betting would there be that he turns up miraculously in some qualifying draw for a Eureopan CH or ATP event over the weekend?

Ashley duly serves out the 1st set 6-4.

Fingers crossed for an all GB final.

9 BPs faced so far, all repelled. 1 BP earned and taken.

Back-to-the-wall performance, so far from Ashley. Must have good resolve under pressure and good concentration too. Hard to keep that up for a whole match, but so far so good.

Update: OK, I'm sorry.....

Here's hoping Fitzy can stop the Brit-bashing Belgian bandwagon!

ITF site still showing that the next game hasn't started. Maybe an MTO ?

Whatever happens in this final, Fitzy has again shown the "never-say-die" spirit to come back from the brink. Let's hope he can keep going and pull off the victory.
