Well I was going to tease the Count over Boggo not thinking he has made the cut but I will have to let him off because it seems to me that the organisers of this event don't know what they are doing.
The entry deadline for this event was Tuesday 9th April so the rankings that should be used for the entry list are those from Monday 8th April. The draw sheet cites Gerard Melzer as being the last DA, correctly citing his 8th April WR 296. At the time Boggo was WR 301 and Suk-Young Jeong was WR 310 and they have both made the main draw. This alone could just have been a mistake on identifying the last DA. More seriously however is that Greg Jones was WR 306 (He was on the entry list) and so should have been in the main draw but is instead top seed in the qualifying draw.
Both Boggo and Suk-Young Jeong are shown as Alternates. When ALTs are promoted (I believe when withdrawals or non take-up of SEs occur after noon on Friday before the tournament), then the latest ranking list is used instead of the original one. Had there been no ALT places, then Boggo would've been seeded 1 and Suk-Young Jeong 2 in qualifying, so seems natural that they would've been promoted.

I suppose that makes sense in some ways. It does howeve seem a little unfair that before noon on Friday Jones would have been ahead of Jeong on the entry list yet after noon he is behind him.
I am guessing that this will be Boggo's last tournament before the grass court season. He isn't playing in weeks 19 or 20 and there are no obvious events for him to play in weeks 21 and 22 (no challengers at all and no futures in the US). Therefore I would imagine that the first Nottingham challenger (week 23) will be his next tournament. Obviously the Count may know otherwise.
