Well it would have a huge shock, so nothing lost in defeat.
But possibly puts to bed any theory that Mandy would have been a good choice for the Fed Cup tie.

Pity, if not a big surprise. It'll be interesting to see if it was close or a thrashing. The biggest pity is that it means that Amanda will almost certainly just miss out on breaking into the top 300 and she has quite a few points to come off in the near future.
