Decent effort from Bally, albeit a similar patter to her previous two matches. Hopefully she can get an easy draw first up in the next ITF to get a victory.
Not a good time for Elena to comeback really, she could do with some faster surfaces while she builds up her fitness. Being realistic, I suspect she will be looking to get her fitness to as good as possible in time for the grass and use the clay as a springboard for that rather than worrying too much on results.
Having opened promisingly and raced to *2-0 and *3-1, Nic & CoCo were 4-5* down. A nice leaping intercept BH volley from Nic recovered the break though for *5-5 Nic held her serve for the first time 6-5* And they break for the set courtesy of a Kramperova DF. Nic's slice lob return of serve playing a key part in the game. Nic & CoCo: 7-5

Alves was Sam Murray's partner in her run to the $100K final in Midland at the start of February, and looked a pretty canny doubles player at this level.
