Shame, really. But it might work out better for PCB to keep the points ticking over by being a "big" player (although inevitably unseeded) in Rome - he could easily draw a big name in Madrid first round and get nothing, whereas there's really noone to fear in Rome.
Although I haven't calculated who else is getting points this week, his (minimum of) 90 points this week will take him into the top 60 in the race to London.
Busta is up and running again this week in the Bordeaux challenger and has just taken out former top 40 player Florian Serra in 3 sets. Next up, 3rd seed Guillermo Garcia Lopez. Top seed in this event is David Goffin, who Busta beat in Portugal last week.
Just so impressive how he's backing it up week after week, now against increasingly strong opposition. I suspect the next match may be beyond him (Garcia Lopez also playing very well), but that's already another 14 or 15 points in the bag and counting.
Back into at least the 160s next week with nothing to defend until almost the end of the season, so he must surely waltz into the top 100 if he maintains even 90% of his current form.

I agree that Garcia Lopez will start favourite, but given that Busta took a set off Wawrinka last week, I wouldn't write off his chances so easily. Wawrinka was obviously playing well at the time as he trounced Ferrer the next day and anyone who does that on clay is playing very well.
Well, Busta got a whole paragraph all to himself on toady's Roland Garros news page (and there were only five paragraphs in total). I didn't realise he was quite that major !
