Looks like the main draw wildcards have already been handed out for Edinburgh and Pippa has been overlooked, so she will have to qualify again unless she gets a SE.

Ironically, after all our collective agonising about the Fed Cup, and the perils of clay, a much better home team showing for this domestic ladies $10K than the previous events.

Congratulations to Anna, Pippa & Jade on their achievements thus far, and hoping for more (even beyond the guaranteed single semi-finalist)

Anna's opponent went off court with an official after the first set, I assume to visit the little girls room, Anna just sat on court waiting for her return. I guess the scorer got confused.

Almost 240 points of play in a final set tie break......2 DFs in a row. She'll be having kittens!

Lost it in the end. Well played Pippa, and bad luck today.

Those 2 DFs at *3-4 in the TB did for her, but should be good for the matchplay memorybank.
