RE: Week 17 - ITF $10K - Bournemouth, UK Clay

Yes, Pippa was looking a real prospect around the time that she won the national under 18s as a 14 yo.

Then appeared a long period of injury, not refinding form and maybe loss of confidence.

Would be great if she's really getting it together now, and Lucy had been in promising looking form herself without getting real reward.

Of course as well, Pippa's biggest success to date came on these courts, so maybe a bit like Fran this place does wonders for her game and confidence.

So how many of the 5 can we expect to progress? I'd say 3 would be fair 4 good and 5 very good. 2 would be disappointing and anything less a disaster.

I think you are being very optimistic. Jade should win, but i suspect the rest will get beaten. 2 girls into QF would be above my expectations.

Thanks, David, I assume you are there.

It was very sweet of Jade to tweet a correction when we thought all was lost!

I think 3 would be really good, 2 much more likely and just the 1 a bit disappointing, though not a huge surprise. 0 would be really bad.

That's the expected one at least. I predict one more so two Brits into the QFs.
