Adam Glynn looks to have meet the expectations of Doresetman. I only follow tennis from a distance but Tom Allen and Neal Skupski are pretty decent pro's if i'm not mistaken so this has been an impressive run
Interesting that Dorsetman's tip Adam Glynn came through FQR with no trouble, easily beating Neal Skupski who has had some good singles victories already this year.
If he's just 16, definitely could be someone to watch. Not someone I'd noticed on DavidC's excellent juniors threads before - to be honest, there's not a lot of GB talent in depth on the GB boys side at the moment IMO (solid players yes, regular tournament winners, very few), a little more perhaps with the girls. But I'm going to look this lad up now on the ITF site to get some more background.

After winning his 2nd round qualifyling match Neal tweeted to say that this was his first clay court event for 5 years.
Good to see Fitzy here, I was thinking he might have got a pretty bad injury in Vietnam. But he's here to play none other than Adam Glynn.
Apologies, Dorsetman, if we don't shout too much for Adam against a forum member who takes the trouble to give us fascinating insights and updates from around the world. We may get a very first hand report on Adam's abilities from an interesting perspective !
Dan Cox - who i expect to have a good week(assuming his shin splints/back have recovered) may have walked into a Italian who may be better on clay than his ranking suggests. (This is based purely that Spaniards and italians generally learn their tennis on clay)
Yes, athough he won the doubles with JWH, Fitzy afterwards reported that at the start of the week he thought he had broken a bone in his foot or done something really bad to a tendon, but had still played on. He was going to have a scan.

Strange thing is, that now you mention it, I do remember him saying that. Damn, I must be getting old and senile.
